In a turn towards the darker side, 'Rebels and Renegades' looks at abuses of authority and transgressive feminine courage in the early twentieth century.

'The Smugglers of the Running Fox' are hunted by the Excise, and when the local Inspector catches Charley (Caroline Grey) red-handed, she is caned until she confesses. Local innkeepers Adele Haze and Pandora Blake are implicated, and all three ladies are subjected to a vigorous strapping and interrogation into their underground activites. Who will break first? Caroline's starring performance and authentic period naval uniform make this film memorable and highly enjoyable.

'The Liberated Ladies of the Jazz Age' engages with the generational conflict between progressive flappers and Victorian values, starring Zille Defeu and Pandora Blake as rebellious young ladies in serious trouble. with their repressive guardian. Thomas Cameron delivers an intense performance as the angry Uncle, hauling the girls onto the bed for severe belt whippings and thrashings with the tawse when he catches them going out dancing. The costumes, authentic 1920s music and outstanding performances combine to give this film a believable and powerful emotional edge. But these liberated ladies will not be suppressed, and turn the tables on horrid Uncle Thomas, indulging their illicit lust with soothing comfort for each other's red and welted bottoms after their punishment.
